CZOP submitted feedback on the drafted National Child Rights Policy-2021 to the Ministry of Women Children and Senior Citizens and, National Child Rights Council on June 10, 2021, virtually.

While receiving the feedback of the CZOP, Mr. Milan Raj Dharel, Executive Director, National Child Rights Council (NCRC) says " the feedback made by CZOP is comprehensive and in the form of three columns,  and clearly pictures the how linkage and importance of the points".

The Director further says "this is a professional feedback and NCRC appreciated the work done by CZOP and its members along with those who are involved in the process."  Mr. Dharel assured the CZOP campaigner that NCRC would incorporate the issues as much as possible that links to 'Policy'.

Similarly, in a separate event, Mr. Shantri Raj Prasain, Head of Child Protection and Development from Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens (MoWCSC), expressed his sincere gratitude on behalf of MoWCSC to CZOP for wide-ranging feedback on the 'Policy'. He committed to incorporate the feedback as much as possible in the 'policy'.

Mr. Narendra Dangol, CZOP Chair, eagerly looking forward to being incorporated all the feedback in the final version of the 'Policy'. Mr. Dangol thanks the MoWCSC and NCRC for the wider consultation to make the 'Policy' comprehensive and wider acceptance.

Feedbacks are collected from multi-stakeholders consultation, individual feedback, children views, its members, Child Rights Activists, experts, Child-Centered Networks, Development partner. Altogether more than 120 individuals are consulted during the development of feedback on the policy.  Apart from the consultation, the issues in the feedback received, via email to CZOP, from networks as NCFLG Forum, Ratify CRC-OP3 Coalition Nepal, and National Coalition for Girls Rights are included in the submitted feedback. During both events, CZOP Chair Mr. Dangol, Vice-Chairperson Ms. Meena Sharma, Treasure Mr. Ratna Upreti, past chairs; Mr. Madhav Pradhan and Ms. Samjha Shrestha, CZOP Program Director Madhu Dawadi, and Finance Officer Ms. Bharatee Chaudhary were presented in the events.

CZOP thanks its program Director Mr. Madhu Dawadi and Child Rights Activist Mr. Bishnu Bahadur Khatri to compile the feedback in a standard way.
